I've found Hobbyco a bit expensive like most general hobby shops that stock a lot of other hobbies besides trains, but I always go for a look when I'm in Sydney.

Their equivalent in Brisbane would probably be Hobbyrama at Stafford, their train selection these days seems to be leaning towards the British side but they do stock Japanese. Vogler & Sons here in Ipswich are a small old time hobby shop, but have some Japanese. The best Japanese stockists in Brisbane would probably be Daft Crafts and Mad Models in Beenleigh, whenever my roster gives me a meal break at Beenleigh I pay them a visit. http://www.daftcraftsandmadmodels.com.au/

Branchline in Croydon Victoria has got a limited supply of KATO and Tomix trains and building and have some Micro Ace trains too, they have got a mixed array of KATO uni-track and stater track sets.

Aust-N-Rail in Seymour Victoria has a stock of KATO uni-trak and if you e-mail Rob he will try and get it from the supplier but sometimes has to get it direct.

Hobbyman in Dandenong Victoria has also got a mixed range of KATO and Tomix products in their store.

Daft Crafts & Mad Models that I mentioned in the previous post are now under new management. They were at the Toowoomba train show on the weekend with a good collection of Japanese trains at reasonable, for Australia, prices.

G'day guys! I'll make this super easy for you :) I'm part of the new management for JNR models, which is Ausrtralia's supplier of Japanese model railways. I've built a website detailing a list of every store you can buy our items from here: http://jnrmodels.com.au/find-a-retailer/

I can't guarantee that all of these stores hold stock of our items at this point in time, it's a list of all clients we have recently dealt with, so it's worth calling up first. Feel free to add any of these to the list you already have. Not all of the full store details are up yet as I'm waiting to hear from them as to the details they would like to have advertised.

And feel free to ask me any questions regarding what's available. :) I'm putting all that up on the website also, I'm just working through the list atm, will have all the locos up over the next few days.
