fyi,

 

the new youtu.be/ links dont see to work with the forums auto embed system. you have to get the long link in the share options to get the youtube.com link that will work.

It opens for me, but the preview image doesn't show.

the link works, but the forum's auto embed feature does not work with the youtu.be domain so you have to open the video up in a new window to play it. the forum autoembed does work if you use the same video with the youtube.com link

its just that the forum is searching for youtube.com when its doing its autoembed processing and misses the youtu.be urls.
