cteno4 Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 yeah trying to decal the whole page side of the car might be really tough depending on the amount of relief detail there is. matching the paint color is also really tough. have to test it all the way through the decaling and final clear coat as the paint and decal colors change subtly with the application and clear coating. this is an old self made decal dilemma. the alps dye sublimation printers were the solution to this, but alas those are long OOP. some small home shops still do some custom runs for folks but supplies are scarce! pokemon decals for the shinkansens are be much easier as many are on white car areas and thus you could use transparent decals. the images also have very little white which you could change to a different color as well if needed. jeff Link to comment
