rpierce000
The GreenMax version of the Fujimi Monorail 1000 kit was originally scheduled as a fully assembled unit available in December of 2011. I am now told by my wholesaler that it will be: 1) Sold in March 2012, three months late 2) Cost 8000 yen for a six car set (Fujimi is 2800yen for the four cars and 2000 for the two car expansion) 3) Is prepainted, but NOT preassembled, making the cost seem even higher, IMHO Would you pay $45 to have your monorail painted for you? Martijn Meerts
Painting the trains will be one of the more difficult parts of the Fujimi kits. I guess quite a few people wouldn't mind paying extra for a pre-painted version. The only problem with a pre-painted kit is that it often looks dull and way too plastic.. Link to comment
The_Ghan
Yes, I'd probably pay the price for pre-painting. I'm time poor and have SO many other things to do than paint my own trains. Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment

rpierce000
A fully running six car train? $245, easily! Link to comment
to2leo
I thought the train is without motor? Wow, at that price, I would think Green Max would release the monorail for Disneyland first? Link to comment
