kudos for Tomix mechanisms

I just put a Digitrax DZ125 decoder in the Tomix TM13 powered chassis I'm using under a Graham Farish DMU.  First it was really easy to install -isolate the motor wipers from the track pickups with judicious use of kapton tape, solder grey & orange leads to the motor, wedge solder coated black & red leads under the track pickup rails on the frame, bundle the other 3 wires (no lights).

The chassis is smooth and quiet.  I did tone down the power output using CV5 & 6 so it wouldn't rocket around the layout. I'm ordering another one tomorrow and going to the local hobby shop to pick up a decoder.

Great stuff this Tomix stuff.
