westfalen
Wow! I'm definitely going there for a spot of train watching while I'm in Osaka. Link to comment
KenS
It's raining trains! Given the active windshield wipers and umbrellas, the title may just mean "Trains in the Rain", but the poster's comments mention a typhoon, so maybe they were running post-typhoon extras to make up for service cancellations. Definitely a lot of trains there. Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Oooh, very exciting. Will be at that station on Friday, can't wait to see this for real. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Oooh, very exciting. Will be at that station on Friday, can't wait to see this for real. If you have time, check out the new viewing area above the tracks, located in the shopping area (Times Plaza Saidaiji) within the station. The view is of the Nara Line in the Osaka direction, and the Kyoto Line coming in on the right. Entrance to the viewing area, accessed through a market: Link to comment
CaptOblivious
No time for enjoying the view from the station, but we did get a view from the front cab of the iron bird's nest. A fun trip! Link to comment
