Tomix overhead station

Gentlemen,

 

I want to build a Tomix overhead station for my main line in the future and I'm thinking of buying the parts while shipping is 1/2 price.

 

My main line has one track in each direction.  I want to build a station with four platforms, ie: two island platforms.  The station needs to be long enough to accommodate 8 car EMUs for now.

 

I'm thinking I need the following:

 

2 x Elevated Double Track Station Set II (HB Pattern)

2 x Viaduct II PR(L)541-15-55.5

 

But thes station sets are only long enough for 4 cars.  What do I need to make them long enough for 8 cars?  Actually, 8 car shinkansens would be the go for now.

 

Also, what supports do I use for the Viaduct II sets?

 

In short, I'm after the complete shopping list.

Actually, what I want to make is on the bottom of page 312 of the current Tomix catalog except that I want it 280mm longer ...

Sorry to bump this again, but it would be a big help if someone can look at bottom of p312 of Tomix catalog and help me with the parts translation so that I can order enough for a station to cater for 8 cars.

you mean the part that mentions 280 ? or the part right to that.

 

if the part right it is if you buy individually

 

first 4 are mentioned page before i.e. station s a and b viaduct and the 541-15-55.5

 

2nd from bottom is the platform p 307 modern type

bottom is extension platform

 

pc one ?? is either mentioning the the support beams or track or both i'm not sure. i don't get that first 2 character

 

 

the set you mentioned is on page 30 but these sets are really targeted at people how want to follow a already planned track as in the pages at 30 and so forth. not sure if the set works out cheaper but i doubt it with the extra weight for shipping

I won't be buying those sets on page 30 afterall .... I wouldn't use the side walls because I want to see my trains in the stations rather than hide them.

Actually, if you add the glass inserts in the side walls it looks real nice. I wouldn't use them the entire length of the track though, because even with the glass they do obscure the trains quite a bit :)
