March Outside of Shinjuku Station

Last Sunday, I happened to be outside of Shinjuku Station when a protest march passed. I don't usually pay attention and never shoot photos. I haven't posted any comments or labeled the photos, but they should be self-explanatory.

 

I'm not posting it to comment about the theme, and hope that any comments made in response will not cause trouble for this site. That's why I will not post the photos here but will provide a link to the my Photobucket account, Protest March folder.

Disregarding the theme of the protest; they have some very intriguing banner and sign designs!

thanks very much, its nice to get all sorts of scenes like this. very interesting. its a thought for a scene somewhere someday.

 

i was interested in the heavily modified police car that seems to be some sort of lookout post up on the roof. wonder if it extends up at all?

i was interested in the heavily modified police car that seems to be some sort of lookout post up on the roof. wonder if it extends up at all?

 

That's a "genba shikikansha" or site commander's vehicle.  Apparently the platform is fixed and not extendable.  The wire walls do fold flat.
