gr8tfuldead
I was purusing some of the posts on the forum and found great one that had 100's of photos of Tokyo? or some other large Japanese metropolis that really indicated how crowded everything is. I wanted to use them for reference purposes in constructin my layout, but know I can't find the post. Anybody know the one I'm talking about. It would be a great help if anybody can point me to it. Thanks all. Link to comment

KenS
Grant (gmat) has posted a number of threads with photos taken around Tokyo (mostly in the Prototypes, Pictures and Video board) and that's probably the ones you're thinking of. Link to comment
westfalen
Grant's posts a good in that they show all the nitty gritty detail that most overlook. Link to comment

Jcarlton
One thing I like about Tokyo or any Japanese city for that matter is the anything goes development where you find large buildings right next to Edo era houses slowly falling apart next to Meiji era buildings that look like they belong in New York or London.
