The_Ghan
A great way to promote rail travel, that's for sure. I wish City Rail in Sydney would take a bit of notice. Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment
The_Ghan
Bill, What series is she and where does she run? I like this puppy - more than just a few vinyl transfers. Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment

linkey
The E2 Hayate Pokèmon - gotta catch `em all.... lol mmm Jeff where did you get the stickers of the Pokèmon and would they be the right size (or close to) for the E2? As it sounds like a good idea to get kids to enjoy seeing. Bill, They (the youtube links) look great, wonder what other painted trains will be running around Japan this season? Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
Most Pokemon characters are real simple, and it should be easy enough to create some (re-usable) templates for airbrushing. For Pikachu I'm guessing you can get away with 4 or 5 layers to get the basic character, and then do some freehand shading to pop it out a little. Link to comment

As it sounds like a good idea to get kids to enjoy seeing. i just googled and downloaded a bunch of images from the web. folks have made big sheets with 50-100 characters on them. was thinking of just reducing them to the proper size and then either printing decals or ruboffs from them. contact me off line and i can see about getting you the ones i found. will have to try to match the characters and poses as close as possible though, that could be a rub... im sure someone has created decals sets for this kind of stuff in japan on the underground (ie not licensing the rights)! im sure the licensing is always an issue with these painted trains. unfortunately im a total addict! cheers jeff Link to comment
