Nick_Burman
Hi all, Was/is there anywhere in Japan where locomotives/rolling stock/trains are/were turned on wyes? Cheers NB Link to comment
marknewton
Didn't one of the the train ferry yards have a wye? I'm sure I've seen a track diagram along those lines somewhere... Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
Nick_Burman
Thanks. I remembered a track plan from a 1980's Model Railroader ("Laurel Highland Railway") which would could be turned into a very nice free-lance Hokkaido coal road (akin to the Rumoi Railway). The plan is point to point witrh a continuous-run connection, however the upper terminal has a wye...which I would be loath to get rid of as it gives the plan part of its flavour. Thus the question... Cheers NB Link to comment
