can't beleive i missed this thread for a whole 3 days ...

There should be an ann coming aug sept ont the next 3 non special edition models which are rumoured to be more d61 variants.

C62-2, C62-3 and C62-20 or C62-18 (I think it was 20) used to run triple header as well. The C62-20 (again, or 18 :)) used to pull the Niseko (if I remember right) and on some part of the line the grade was so steep, they added c62-2 and c62-3.

 

MicroAce actually did a model of the Niseko, including all 3 locomotives.

I was a bit off, it's actually C62-15 that pulled Niseko, but it did get help from C62-2 and C62-3.
