The local line has some interesting kit-bashed commercial structures starting from a Tomix corner store.

What kills me is I have space to build something like this, but I'd never get the ok to do it all Japanese.

Wow this layout is definately something i dream about at night.  A large layout with several stations, several commuter lines w/ express and freight routes.  the freight yard is ridiculously well done in my opinion, is there a bus yard in there somewhere?

 

Anyways, i like the layout, very realistic portrayal of the urban metropolitan areas of Japan.

All I wonder is how long it takes to complete a run on this layout?

I found it interesting that the track plan is good old fashion graph paper and pencil.

There is so much more to the layout that isn't shown on the video, well this is inspiring to get to work on my own layout.

I think that layout is larger than my entire apartment.

 

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get the OK to replicate this at home.
