FYI-the "urban network" is a marketing catchphrase touting the speed and convenience of JR West's commuter services, especially on the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe corridor, in the face of stiff competition from the private railways.

 

Yoko Minamino appearing in the late 80's commercials jogged my memory about something- that will be the subject of an off-topic post.
