This was once a junction station, with the Iwanai Line branching off here. The Iwanai line was the stomping grounds of the specially modified 9600 2-8-0 type with double headlights and feedwater heater. I especially love the slow approach and gentle rocking over the set of points ahead of the platform, but also the headlights on at around the 2:00 mark, right as the train left the platform, was neat.
