disturbman Posted July 10, 2011 Share Posted July 10, 2011 The location is explicitly given in the picture's legend: Shinchi Eki in Fukushima Ken. As far as the trains are concerned... I'm not sure, I guess something like a E721 (Yes, that's it. I checked on the Japanese Wiki). Link to comment
bikkuri bahn Posted July 10, 2011 Share Posted July 10, 2011 It's Shinchi Station on the Joban Line in Fukushima Prefecture. The train is a E721 2+2 trainset (P1+P19) which was on a Sendai-Haranodai service. The approx. 40 passengers who were on this train managed, with the help of two police officers, to escape to high ground w/o any injuries. the aftermath: 1 Link to comment
