UnfinishedKit
I’ll upload more later. The AJMRG J-Trak layout is lots of fun. Nice chat with Andrew from the club, I might have to build a module. (Has to have a sake brewery on it, but I’m open to suggestions what else) 4 Link to comment

However the t-trak collective next door has a nice little roundy of Chinese trains running with some Japanese scenery. Very nicely done. Actually that's Hong Kong scenery, with buildings from 80M Bus Model Shop there: https://www.80mbusmodel.com/categories/diorama-sets?filter_tag[66758509223c0a001fd10e77][]=669f6f3197935dcf1bc21d99&scope=advanced_filter Rich K. 2 1 Link to comment
UnfinishedKit
Good spot. There were some Japanese buildings or at least Japanese signs on the other end of the module. Link to comment

UnfinishedKit
J-track was what Andrew said but I did a search of the Japanese web and could only find reference to a JANTRACK modulate standard. It’s not that. what I did find though was the module standard used by the zenkoku daikai Model Rail Contest, which look’s exactly like what they are using. It’s a 300x900 straight module and a 600x600 curved module. With versions for both Tomix and Kato track. https://www.moraco.jp/_files/ugd/a2c269_b46df2bf340a4243a384a1b31794bdf6.pdf 1 Link to comment

Little-Kinder
I know there is N trak which is basically t-trak with one more rail really https://ntrak.org/NTRAK-Standards Link to comment
cteno4
Ntrak is the big old standard of 2’x4’ modules with 3 tracks in the front of the module. About 25 years back one of the pioneers of Ntrak developed Ttrak from Ntrak after visiting JAM in Japan with some Ntrak. Ntrak was a tough sell in japan because of its size. Lee Monaco Fitzgerald saw a demonstration of making rail dioramas made on A4 sized boards and then blended the concept of Ntrak with smaller A4 sized boards and 2 tracks of Unitrack so modules could easily be transported even on public transportation and just directly popped together on tables. J-track is AMJRG’s standard [IgNippon uses a similar design] that is sort of a fremo with medium sized module [about a full depth double or so Ttrak module] and the two tracks going down the center of the straight modules. It looks like they use joiner tracks between modules like Ntrak does, not having the track joints on the edge of the modules like Ttrak does. example module here Maybe @VJM can fill in more details. jeff Link to comment
VJM
Speaking with an older member of the club, the standards we use come from an old KATO layout book published in the 90s. The base unit is KATO 24-011 "Module Panel 40/900" and 24-012 "Module Corner Panel 40". A full example module is the KATO 24-061 "Module Base 900A". Link to comment
