kato eco toyama portram, maybe tomytec?

with kato's new eco toyama painted protram out im sorely tempted to get one as im such a sucker for the painted trains. rub is i have a bunch of tomytec plain colored ones and two kato, not sure i want to sink $110 into another kato.

 

what do you all think the odds are tomytec will do a shell of the eco design??! they have done all the others plus more than kato has, this is the only one kato has that tomytec does not. perhaps kato got an exclusive on the art...

 

i guess i could sell off one of my kato portrams at a loss to help pay for the eco one...

I have all of the Kato Portrams and Centrams except the painted ones that the students designed. I think that qualifies me as OCD.

 

Model Train Stuff is selling all the Kato's for $99. Kato USA wants $149.
