Thanks

Hmm. Seems it doesn't matter where you go in the world, most TV ads are 'ken stupid.  :lipssealed:

He plays an alien visiting earth incognito (more or less), and working in various everyman's jobs, making observations about human character.  I also like this commercial, parodying the NHK series "Project X" (btw excellent series, including one about the dvpt.of the Shinkansen).  Here he plays a tunnel worker, who gets to detonate the last portion of excavation:

Looks like Osugi Ren there as well.  That's great, after all it's like national law or something that he's in everything.

Just saw this recently on TV, the latest in the long running series featuring Tommy Lee Jones as the alien "Jones" observing the triumphs and travails of human existence. Hokkaido Shinkansen and enka singers Ishikawa Sayuri and Kitajima Saburo, long associated with this region, either by song or origin, or both.

Maybe.  Certainly at the station kiosk or vending machines.  Personally, the hot coffee served from a trolley wagon thermos would be better.
