bill937ca
Locals, express trains and Rapi:t bound for Kansai International Airport pass through Hamaderakoen Station which is four track at the photographer's end and two track in the distance. There is a Hamaderakoen Station wire diagram here. Close by is the terminal of the Hankai Electric Tramway. An interesting station with an interesting array of equipment. 2 Link to comment
Nick_Burman
Nice - a suburban station which has retained its station house, and a pretty one too. Cheers NB Link to comment
Mudkip Orange
So it's a typical rural three-track station, but with a bay platform, which was later converted to a pullout to allow more frequent express operation, and then at some point they pasted on a very 60's-esque concrete station entrance on the other side of the tracks, where the gates are 5' from the turnstiles. THIS is why you model Japan. 2 Link to comment
miyakoji
And don't forget, 250 feet away is Hankai's Hamadera Ekimae Eki (浜寺駅前駅), and the area in front of that, although technically Hamadera Koen (浜寺公園), could really be Hamadera Ekimae Ekimae (浜寺駅前駅前). Just sayin'. Link to comment
