"Recycling" a coach

I have a N scale coach, an old Con-Cor/Sekisui model painted in Pennsylvania colours which is in fact a Kato OHa31 in American guise. It's in a rather tattered condition, which started me on the idea of "recycling" it into something usable... my idea would be to repaint it into my private railway's colours and use it in hauled service, either behind a locomotive (like the Tsugaru "Stove Train") or tucked at the tail of a mixed train (a la Matsuo Kogyo). The question is, where can I get number and katakana decals to finish it?

Cheers NB

the idea seems nice, aditionaly (and more flexible) could be the idea to make the coach into a

construction coach (have seen those in japan) , may be better if the running quality may be not perfect

katakana decals -> gundam decals(having the same size and are katakana kanji)

(have a few at home maybe can post a few photos)

Such decals do crop up on HS and elsewhere. But the usual translation into English reveals a different term…searching for "decal" won't get you very far. I forget what the term is, although its been discussed here before. In addition to the term I can't remember, "Seal" is a different term you might try (for some reason, "Stickers" in Japanese is "Seelu").

Actually it runs just as good as my straight-out-of-the-box ORo31 coach. So it makes sense using it in "revenue" service.

Would it please be possible to give me examples of these decals/transfers?

"Transfers", Capt'n? Will have a look in HobbySearch later.

Additionally I could do with number sheets for JNR freight cars so I could renumber one of my ToKi15000 gondolas...

Hrm, can't find the original post, but a quick review of HS reveals that the following search terms might help: "lettering", "sticker", "mark"
