keitaro
so yeah. To keep the what did you buy on topic i'll move this here. what do you guys think about using zscale 9mm in height people of ebay to use as passengers. I can see the benefit of not as much chopping. Link to comment
bill937ca
But wouldn't you get 1/220 people in a 1/150 world? Will they fit all the way back on a seat? Link to comment

cteno4
well i think they might looks out of scale, you will still have to chop, so why not just chop the n scale people? the thing the z scale people do work well for is kids! jeff Link to comment
Bernard
the thing the z scale people do work well for is kids! jeff Does that mean they only pay 1/2 fares on the trains? Link to comment
keitaro
it's in the train though if possible i'd like to have legs on my passengers but some models that is not possible the kiha 110 with lights installed i had to chop at waist to get them in so at close up it lok a bit dodgy. I think i will order some and post my result only $8 after shipping. Link to comment
cteno4
Keitaro. you can chop them at the waist at a 45 degree angle then rechop the legs at a 45 degree angle and glue the top half of them for thighs to fill in all you see thru the windows. i tried using tweezer nose pliers to bend figures at the waist and they just snap in two... only other option is to buy seated figures and chop off the ankles and seated figures are quite a big more to fill a train car with! i guess it depends on how close you want to look. at 1' most all this stuff disappears w/in a car, even with interior lighting. if you want up close macro photography then you will notice the architectural figures more. but you are talking 4-8 cents a person vs 35 cents to a dollar each... cheers jeff Link to comment
keiman
Agree with Jeff about Z scale peeps, personally would stay with N scale ones- sign of old age probably - at least you can see the bits you want to cut off. Pics of the cheap chinese peeps now in my Tram thread. Link to comment
