Greenmax structures and Kato/Tomix track

Tomix/TomyTec structures tend to be built to match the 18.5mm width of Tomix track - the platforms are the correct height and size to fit up against Tomix track, and the engine houses have spaces in the bottom to correctly accept Tomix track ballast. The same goes for Kato track and structures. One aspect of this is that the two are not entirely compatible - Tomix platforms beside Kato track and low and have a wide gap, Kato platforms beside Tomix track risk being struck by trains.

How does Greenmax fit into this?

As an example the Greenmax engine house. What is the track spacing? What height is it designed for in relation to any ballast?

As pointed out,

Greenmax #38 is designed at 37mm (Tomix) spacing.

Greenmax #19 is designed at 33mm (Kato) spacing, with or without the center post.

Greenmax platforms are designed for regular code 80 (flex track, etc) track.  The height is designed to fit track without a built in roadbed.  So if you are using a platform, you need the platform to be built up to the same height as the track itself.

edit:

All Greenmax heights are designed for basic track height, and do not account for any built in roadbed.  So while #19 is at Kato 33mm spacing, the building needs to be built up to match track height, because the Kato roadbed will not fit under the building.

Greenmax #38 has a little more flexibility, because the doors are much higher, and it does not have the internal structural pieces that "surround" the track like #19, but if you did not build up the height of the building, the outside doors would be half covered in ballast if you were to create any sort of scene around the building.
