Nick_Burman
Has anyone seen this cutie-cutie beastie here: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10132729? Tsugawa has released a film of it in operation: The little brute is surprisingly strong for its size! Tempted! Cheers NB 2 Link to comment
westfalen
Doesn't seem to falter on the turnouts either. DCC could be a problem but I'm just thinking of an industry where JR drop cars in a siding, you switch the siding from DCC to analog and this little guy comes out and switches the cars around the industry. I'm tempted too now. Link to comment
The_Ghan
Yeah, I've seen it. At first I thought I might get a couple for a future tin mine I'm hoping to model one day. They're available in black too, I believe. But when I had a close look I didn't really like the build quality. Also, I can't work out if it really comes with a coupler or if a coupler can be fitted. bill937ca
Plaza Japan has them on its Motorized Chassis page in brown, dark green or black with no couplers or coupler pockets and a second version with couplers. http://stores.ebay.com/Plaza-Japan/Motorized-Chassis-/_i.html?_dmd=1&_fsub=10&_sasi=1&_sc=1&_sid=169030440&_sop=1&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322&_vc=1 With couplers: http://cgi.ebay.com/Mini-Size-Locomotive-Green-N-scale-Aoshima-78785-/200584117952?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2eb3bebec0 Link to comment
keiman
I have 2 of the Aoshima Locos and have found 3 or 4 wagons is about the limit but not on 103mm radius track-have just got mine out and have it running round with the 4 B train container cars on 103mm loop. Very tempted with the little mini train car- works vehicle for the trams? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mini-Size-Train-Black-N-scale-Aoshima-87213-/120652286508?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item1c176fca2c Link to comment

The Tsugawa loco is a model of a real locomotive while the Aoshima is a caricature of the Sakai locos used on the 762mm forestry lines. Cheers NB Link to comment

keiman
Not sure but might give it a shot if they have any leftat the end of the month. If it does not look right will just use the chassis to power a British LNER shunter kit I have. Link to comment
