Claude_Dreyfus
As many of you will know, my layout - Yamanouchi Oshika - is set in the Yamanashi Prefecture; likewise for my under-construction terminus layout. Now, I have been able to piece together suitable trains for these layouts, however the rivet-counter in me is turning my attention to the buses. I have a few, however vehicles from Tokyo and Kyoto probably don't really pass muster for this location... So my question is, are any of the Tomytec buses suitable for this region? They would need to be quite modern, and ideally would cover both urban and rural areas. Failing that, are any of the currently available kits suitable for modification to something more appropriate? Thanks...in hopeful anticipation! Link to comment

bikkuri bahn
Claude, the main bus operator in Yamanashi is Yamanashi Kotsu, which is under the umbrella of Saitama/Tokyo bus operator Kokusai Kogyo (they share similar liveries). Here are some prototype pics, which can help you match with the models: wikipedia site pics: town coach non-step bus 1 Link to comment
