Kamiyacho Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 This forum attracts people who seem to know a lot about many different things, so, how crazy would it be to try to build a layout based on Rhodesia Railways and the Victoria Falls Hotel and the bridge? Any idea if N or HO locos would be available (or nearly available)? Seems like it would be really cool to have some approriate African animals, trees, houses, etc. But I've been to the Falls a fair amount of selective compression would be required. Link to comment
harukablue Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Lima has made some items of South African rolling stock that would have operated as far as Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, also they did make the South African diesel loco, The Brazilian maker Frateschi make several GM locos that would operate with various countries in Africa with smaller loading gauge to the USA locos, 1 Link to comment
