JR East KiHa 58/28 - Joyfull train "Kenji"

Anybody know what this one is/was? It was on the Yamada line (Iwate) in 2009.

I wonder if it's not JR East joyfull train Kenji wearing some special wraping. In any case it's some sort of Limited Express rolling-stock.

That's what it is.  Compare this photo from the same original Flickr set to this photo.

 

I hadn't known about this train before.  Interesting appearance.  The wikipedia Joyful trains page says it was converted from the former Salon Express Arcadia trainset in 2002.  There's a Japanese Wikipedia page for the Salon Express Arcadia that has a short section on the Kenji.
