Japan Platform Photography

Hello all,

 

I just registered on JNS to post up some things for sale, but I didn't realize there was a photography section!  I've been looking at some pictures and some are very good!

 

I run a Flickr group called JPP - Japan Platform Photography.  It's dedicated to photos taken on the diverse landscape of train platforms ONLY.  It is public so feel free to join!

Right now we have 102 members, but I'd like to see it grow as there are many talented photographers out there.

Interesting, it's always good to have more shots from platforms. In a lot of cases, the main focal point of a model layout is a train station, and there's always a lot of detail to be added around the platforms.

Thanks for posting that.  As Martijn says we can always use more lineside photographs for detailing ideas, and platforms are a particularly important part of that.

 

And those are some very nice photos in their own right.

I love shooting from platforms. I can combine street photography and trains all at the same time.
