Japan Series Head Mark

Seibu Railway trains are carrying a special head on the end of trains to commemorate the Seibu Lions home games in the Japan Series on November 4, 5 and 6 (if necessary) versus the Yomiuri Giants.  Head marks are common on JR and other railway lines when events occur, milestones are reached or equipment is retired.

This is very much like the NYC subway series in 2000 when the Yankees played the Mets. The Subway cars had a similar type of logo depicting the "Subway Series".

They're still playing ball.  Seibu Lions have taken the Japan Series to 7 games. Here's an account of game six won by the Lions.

Seibu won the Japan Series in seven games.  Almost calls for another head mark!
