Keihan's four track main line is impressive, though I find as a passenger the double track portion in Kyoto more fun, with its roller-coaster profile.

Yeah, that's a good description.  I was always impressed how it wraps around JR's Nara Line around Tofukuji.  Youtube contributor DR3104 has the whole ride from Yodoyabashi up to Demachiyanagi, I have (tried to) cued it up at 45m20s here, before passing Toba-Kaido Station at 45m33s, winding over the Nara Line at 46m05s, and then passing their own Tofukuji Station at 46m32s.
