The Japan Times article is about the Tetsudofan Boom and probably doesn't say much new for many here, but the attached video is cute and probably goes here.

Quote from the last line of the article. "If you want to see just how passionate Japan’s railroad fans get, check out the video of a hardcore tetsu mama above." A big affirmative on that.

Similarly, I saw this on NHK World http://cgi4.nhk.or.jp/gendai/kiroku/detail.cgi?content_id=2989 .  There's only a short excerpt there, and the NHK World broadcast had English overdub, but it was a pretty interesting show, and quite recent.

Yeah when I was a little kid my father used to set up kickass brio layouts at night after I went to bed, would wake up and there's this fully assembled train set. Have only the vaguest recollections 'cuz I was so little, but that was pretty awesome.

I just wonder how do they get in the tub? Do they put him in first and then build the layout or does he have to squirm his way through?
