bikkuri bahn
0 Series walkover seats: closeup of mechanism: the headlight/taillight mechanism for the 0 series (2 versions): TR-29 bogie swing bolster operation(this type was found on the kiha 07 railcars): brake system setup on TR-29: "Jackman" style arrangement used on DT129 bogie, used on ED75 Bo-Bo electric locomotives. The DT129 is a bolsterless design, without a center pivot. Instead the bogie is attached directly on the underframe and pivoting is enabled by this setup. The large brackets to the left and right are attached to the locomotive frame, and the center piece is attached to the bottom portion of the bogie frame. This arrangement is used to improve adhesion, as it negates the leading front axle from "jumping" under acceleration, a phenomenon seen when the bogie is attached to the frame via a center pivot bolster: 3 Link to comment
