Tenpoku Line vignette

Was trying (with no luck) to find some early footage, hopefully steam, of action on the Sekihoku Line.  Anyway here's another little gem of a contribution by tempoku2000, of a late summer scene at Koetoi Station on the (now abandoned) Tempoku Line in northern Hokkaido.  It's September, 1988: JR is only a few years old, semaphore signaling is still in use, and the arriving train is a kiha 22, the workhorse at that time on JR Hokkaido local lines, with its distinctive first-generation cab front and unmistakable DMF17 engine sound...
