While Tomix is licensed to make N-scale Thomas models, if they were to make a regular N-scale train with Thomas paint scheme, they'll probably need a new license again. They'd also not be allowed to ship it to distributors outside of Japan since Tomix only has the license to release Thomas models in Japan. Link to comment
