David
The B Train Shinkansen always seem to get a bit of special treatment, with larger then normal sets (instead of just a cab car and a mid car with different roof details). But I think this is by far the biggest single box set so far. [Limited Edition] B Train Shorty Bullet Train Series 0 16-Car Full Formation Set http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10134592 Link to comment
ShinCanadaSen
It figures, I just placed an order for the individual sets a couple ofdays ago :( Link to comment
Nozomi4ever
Wow!! 7360 yen is really a bargain for a 16 car formation.. I wonder what it looks like.. Link to comment
stevenh
For a static (and tiny) model... it's an appropriate price... If you then want to motorise it? Add another 8,000 yen depending on your tastes for max speed. I think I'd nearly put a motorised chassis in each car :) Meanwhile, I didn't know Bandai did their own bogies!? With power transfer! http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10123656 Link to comment

cteno4
i was sorely tempted, but have decided to hold off for a while and think about it! Matthew in the club has a 16 car 700 and its quite cute. i think it has only a single power chassis and runs well with this. only issue is its a bit finicky on the track as small track joint bumps at speed can make it derail. its also a tad wide and may high platforms if swaying at all. also seems to do quite an oscillation on the rapido spring couplers with any speed changes or if it hits any track joint bumps. cheers jeff Link to comment
clem24
Wow tempting.. is this going to use the regular Kato run of the mill B-Train power car? I have one of those lying around that I bought and never used (cause I was dumb and bought the E531 set and didn't know at the time that you had to buy the bogies for non-powered cars too, so I said screw it!). So how much is this thing going to cost assuming conversion of all bogies + pantographs (that's a lot of pantographs LOL). Link to comment
