Bernard
A friend of mine forward me this link. It reminded me of a diner when I was a kid called "The Hamburger Express" There was a track that ran from the kitchen to the counter where a Lionel train delivered your hamburger on a flat car. This company is in Osaka, and has three tetsu cafes. You can sit at the layout and watch trains go around or run trains while you eat and drink. <http://www.tetsu-cafe.com/nippou/up_images/06090048550046.jpg> <http://www.tetsu-cafe.com/nippou/up_images/12090014482sakai3.JPG> <http://www.tetsu-cafe.com/sakai/index.html> Link to comment

stevenh
I found a hobby store with a large railway setup (where you could pay to play or bring your own) near the Maccas and pedestrain overpass in Den Den Town, Osaka... and another area in Amagasaki, but this setup is simply awesome... until someone spills food on it!
