bikkuri bahn
Ayase to Kita Ayase cab view My favorite TV program, Sora kara nihon o mite miyo was broadcast tonight (not related to the YouTube piece above), and the subject was the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line route. The program started from Kita Ayase, which is located on a branch off the main Chiyoda Line. This branch is known as the haunt of the last remaining 5000 series (of Tozai Line fame), and are the oldest rolling stock in the Tokyo Metro fleet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Metro_5000_series Link to comment
miyakoji
Well, since it doesn't have to exceed 15mph, some older rolling stock should be fine! It really grinds through that first turn, looks pretty tight. It's also interesting how those changed ownership, some going to the Toyo Rapid Railway in Chiba for about a decade and then to Indonesia, some going directly to Indonesia. Link to comment
Nick_Burman
It really grinds through that first turn, looks pretty tight. Shades of Coney Island (NYCTA) before rebuilding.... Cheers NB Link to comment
