bikkuri bahn
This article turned up in my customary search using the term "Hitachi rail". Melbourne has some old Hitachi-built trains, and the ones built to replace them, seem to be having troubles. Any Australia-based forum members who can provide any extra insight? http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/state-election-2010/new-trains-arrived-full-of-defects-20101024-16z75.html?from=age_sb Link to comment
Eliphaz
It comes as no surprise. Alsthom has grown far too big and far too fast in recent years, and now have too many business lines than they can manage apparently, as a result, all of them suffer from lack of top level concern and oversight. to2leo
Maybe this is a time for Alstom to reconsider its business methods? Who knows, Alstom had beaten Siemens and Bombardier before, perhaps this is the 'tug' to bring itself back from the lack of HSR sold since AGV to Italy? Link to comment
