KenS
And you'd need to sell your car to afford all of them. "Ouch" is right. And "optional interior lighting" at that price? Double-ouch. But I'll bet it's a lovely model seen in person. Link to comment

Bernard
N4Ever - Welcome to the forum and an interesting thread you've started! That is a small fortune plus the track you have to get. (which looks great) Correct me if I'm wrong but most O scale trains like Lionel work on a 3 rail track? You need a lot of space to run it plus custom track. The video that you posted is an extremely expensive layout! (but a beautiful train) 1 Link to comment

I am starting to like it alot! Yup, you 're correct Lionel is 3-rail system. The train strictly speaking uses a Lenz 2-rail DCC controller and Lenz O scale tracks as seen in the video instead. Hope it helps! :) Link to comment
westfalen
What size layout would you need to get a 16 car shinkansen up to a realistic speed in O scale? Link to comment

Nozomi4ever
Actually a long wide-bodied jet or the double decker is enough! http://www.flightglobal.com/blogs/aircraft-pictures/VirginA340large.jpg Link to comment
Toy Maker
Hi guys... Just wanted to give you a little update on this train. I was thinking about buying a set.. I was referred to a US distributor, who called me with a quote to import a full 16 car set. The total was $32,500 including shipping... Needless to say, I passed on the set. I decided to go ahead and build my own in an even larger scale 1:32 Link to comment
