marknewton
I bookmarked this one ages ago, then lost it, then found it again. Some interesting comparison views between then and now. http://teramatiisejosai.travel.coocan.jp/local.html Of particular interest to me are the pages showing the Mie Kotsu narrow gauge lines, Hokuriku Railway lines, Toyama Railway and the Kaetsuno Railway/Manyosen. http://teramatiisejosai.travel.coocan.jp/mie.html http://teramatiisejosai.travel.coocan.jp/hokutetutitel.html http://teramatiisejosai.travel.coocan.jp/toyamasinaisen.html http://teramatiisejosai.travel.coocan.jp/manyou.html Enjoy! 1 Link to comment
marknewton
You may have seen this site before, but if you haven't, there is a wealth of good material on it. http://6.fan-site.net/~haasan55/index.htm Link to comment
marknewton
Another site full of B&W goodies is this one: http://hokuso.com/menu.html One part of it I found extremely interesting is the section devoted to the Mie Kotsu's Matsusaka line. This was another 762mm gauge electric railway centered on Matsusaka in Mie prefecture. 23km long in total, it was closed in December 1964. Unlike the other Mie narrow gauge lines, there doesn't seem to be much published on the web about this railway, so finding these images was like finding gold. http://hokuso.com/matsusaka/html-matsusaka.html Link to comment
