Internet sales competition warming up

Looking at Hobby Search's new arrivals of Tomy N guage 90000 series wagons, I was wondering if Rainbow Ten was also reporting their arrival and was surprised to see that not only had they arrived, but they were being offered at 20% discount.  I've not known this company to reduce its usual 10% discount for other than quite old or slow selling stock.  Looking at their inventory  http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/index.html  I see that most stock is 20% off and some at 30%!!!!!!!  I haven't compared all prices of course, but I wonder - are we in for some interesting competition?   By the way, Kawai are also currently offering this wagon series, but from the photos of both versions, the Tomy ones have crisper detail.

Wow, i pretty much stopped looking at rainbowten after hs and hw went to 20% off. use to use them for pre-orders as they would pre order just about anything.

 

ill have to start keeping an eye on them now!
