bill937ca
For those impatient with Unitram and Tomix Wide Tram Rail here is the world's largest tram show. This show was held in a carhouse in Bremen Germany this year. I like that setting for a train show! I believe most of these layouts are HO or O, N is not that common because of its small size. Trams running on live overhead with hand laid track take years to build even in modules. Probably many of these modellers have been at this for years. Building these layouts is a very unique skill that requires a lot of soldering to create the track and overhead. http://www.kleinebahnganzgross.de/ The 2007 show. Link to comment
Hobby Dreamer
Thanks for posting Bill, Model trams have that nice "clickity-clack". What is most impressive about these layouts is that they are the one's they bring to rail shows and not their permanent layouts. These layouts may take time when compared to some Japanese layouts but ultimately its things like switches that are the reason. No switches means no electric concerns but also equals potentially boring layouts. You get what you invest. Link to comment
