The wide-rail siding kit is exciting! Now if only they'd do the 605-10 curve for double-track-island-station layouts like…mine. They aren't doing a dedicated wide-rail turnout, it looks like, but are rather offering ballast parts that can be affixed to the extant FineTrack turnouts. Still, very nice!

I wish anyone with access to the new DE10 would bother to ask about the new mechanism. It's not like no-one knows that the reason for retooling was in large part because the old mechanism totally sucked.
