I was referring more to a complete lack of customer service and available parts.

 

Yeah, that is actually a concern for me too. I don't really like it and hope MA will one day have a customer service and some spare parts. But the disintegration of a chassis is an unfortunate accident and malconception. It's limited to certain items (as it seems some very old MA release) and can happen to any Kato, Tomix or other manufacturers. That's not something that is going to bother me.

 

@Clem: your infection is bad news but let's not blow this up out of proportion. Wound infection is very common problem and most likely not the direct doing of MA's pin. ;) You really had some piece of bad luck with your model. :(
