scott
I have an old model of an (off-topic) EMU that I'd like to repaint. However, the windows for each car are made of a single piece of plastic--a "roof" with 16+ windows that snap into the window openings so that they look flush. I can't figure out a way to snap all of the winodws out of their openings at the same time (by the time I've done a few, the first ones start snapping back). And I'd prefer not to cut the window piece unless I have to. Andbody know how I can get this thing apart? Link to comment
ToniBabelony
How about putting a small paper/cardboard between those windows (or that plastic section and the body) that have already popped out? Just to prevent 'em from popping back in, or some other measurement. Link to comment
bill937ca
You might try using tooth picks to hold the windows out. Tooth picks usually can be bought in small boxes or bottles in the supermarket near the paper plates. The plain tooth picks are also useful as paint stir sticks for small bottles of paint. scott
Two good ideas--thanks! You guys are obviously thinking better than I am. I'm going to blame my dopeyness on all the decongestants I've been taking. :-P 1 Link to comment
