gmat
Sometimes you can get interesting shots of the train conductor. Chuo Line, Shinjuku station, Sat, June 12, 2010. Some have a more military posture. Some are more relaxed. Yamanote Line, Shinjuku Station, same date. Inokashira Line, Shimokitazawa, May 28, 2010. This was about the first time that I seriously started thinking about shooting train conductors. If you can't shoot trains well because you are too close, sometimes, the mind leads you to focus on other things. Not deliberate, but upon inspection, much later, I discovered this in the photo. Same date as the first two. Best wishes, Grant 2 Link to comment
Guest ___
Actually, I have a rather large collection of images like this myself. For some reason, I just tend to do this type of shot. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Notice the blue lighting in the first two shots at Shinjuku Station. Installed in the belief that it discourages those contemplating suicide at that location (mirrors are used for the same purpose here in Sapporo). 1 Link to comment
to2leo
Interesting thing about the blue lights installation. How does JRE decide where to put the blue lights to on the platform? I would also love to see the mirror installation sample, I think that's an ingenious idea! Link to comment
