Humble beginnings

Well I now have some rolling stock, which I will list, and although track building wont happen until late Autumn I am now a little more exited about the prospect of a Japanese layout.  You may recall that I was going to be basing this more as an urban scene, no big shiny Shinkansens for me, no siree   so I hope I have made the right choices here, I would be veryy grateful for any comments you may have.

 

Tomix 92142        JR Ltd Express Series Kiha187 (Blue \ Yellow)

Kato 6048 \ 6049  58's I think (Cream \ Red)

Microace A8529    DD51 (Red \ White)

Tomix 2770          KUMU8000 Freight

Kato 8001 \ 8001 \ 8003 \ 8027 \ 8029 freight wagons - the 8003 is the small container wagon with the guards hut at the end (if that makes sense)

I have also picked up a few Greenmax kits to keep me busy like a station, apartment blocks along with smaller housing\shop\business units.

 

All I need now is a plan and somewhere to build it, oh yes, and time.............

I had something in mind Scott, however things are a bit fluid here at the moment, there may even be a shed on the horizon, late Autumn, am still in negotiations with SWMBO
