bill937ca
Those 762mm gauge (30 inch) electrics look small enough to fit in a backyard!! Link to comment
miyakoji
Nice. This railway was featured in episode 30 of FujiTV's Minna no Tetsudou. Also, I think Kintetsu has two short lines in Mie that are 762mm. Link to comment

David
A million people a year?!? I'm not sure a million people ride Amtrak in a year. :-) And 20km/h isn't that slow by Amtrak standards either - especially when you're stuck behind a 17mph (27kph) never-scheduled freight train that gets priority. marknewton
Also, I think Kintetsu has two short lines in Mie that are 762mm. Well, one short line with a shorter branch! Yokkaichi to Utsube, and the branch is from Hinaga to Nishi-hino. The much longer Hokusei line is now owned by the Sangi Railway. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
Tecchan
My grandpa told me about a train line in Poland (not sure) that uses a gauge of 40cm(!!). But this one looks interesting, especially if the rebuild some parts of it each year. Link to comment
