Totally in the other direction from the E5 Hayabusa from Tokyo to Shin-Aomori. Well, at least it didn't become 'Hatsune-Miku' or some other name that spreads epic epic fail and hikkikomori over the globe. 1 Link to comment

I hope I'm one of the 100 chosen who submitted this name to receive the souvenir- a commemorative E5 Suica card and a plaque. I understand Toni B. feelings about the name- I was aware it was neither geographically nor historically appropriate, but I had a gut feeling it was a sentimental favorite, with the relatively recent elimination of the blue train that carried this name, coupled with the sleek connotations and easily marketable nature of something meaning "falcon".
