Nick_Burman
Fast forward to the present day... Three Kosaka Copper DD13s struggle uphill out of Kosaka with a short freight. Does anyone know what do the containers carry...copper cathodes? Also I noticed that in several copper-mining operations in Japan (Kosaka, Kamioka) the only freight cars one seems to see are tank cars, apparently for sulphuric acid. And what about the copper...don't tell me it travels by road...or does the concentrate also travel by tanker as a slurry, like the zinc on the Fukushima Rinkai Railway? Cheers NB 1 Link to comment
Nick_Burman
One more...seems that either the locos are having governor trouble or the rail is really slippery: Cheers NB 1 Link to comment
